You can modify your HBS backup rules that fit your own purposes also to be fully sure that it backed everything up properly, i would run the backup a 2nd time, to confirm that 0 files were transfered on the 2nd pass (this means that everything backed up fine the first time). also it also deletes old files on the backup destination if i delete something from my main nas, so it doesn't leave old no longer relevant stuff piling up either.
